Unseen Strength

Unseen Strength explores the quiet resilience that exists even when it cannot be seen from the outside. Emerging from shadow, the panther is partially concealed by darkness while her illuminated eye holds the viewer’s gaze. Flowers and a small bee bring softness and life into the composition a reminder that strength and vulnerability can exist together.
This painting grew from a theme that has followed me throughout my work and my life: the search for light within darkness. Sometimes strength isn’t bold or visible. Sometimes it is simply the light that remains the part of us that continues to grow, endure, and find beauty even in difficult places.
