Leaping Trout | Fine Art Giclée Print Available in 8×10 and 16×20 Unframed
Leaping Trout is a celebration of movement, texture, and the beauty of nature, inspired by the flowing waters and remarkable wildlife of Montana. This painting has a special story. Originally created for a commission, it challenged me to learn something entirely new: how to paint a trout.
After months of experimenting, studying, and pushing beyond what I thought I could do, the finished painting turned out to be different from what my collector had envisioned. I went on to create another painting for him, and Leaping Trout eventually found a home of its own.
What began as a challenge became a reminder that beautiful things can come from unexpected directions, and that sometimes the greatest growth happens when we’re willing to try something difficult.
Using acrylic pouring techniques, I created the flowing water and intricate cellular patterns throughout the trout, allowing the paint to move organically and capture the energy of rushing water. Now available as a fine art giclée reproduction, this piece preserves the rich colors, intricate details, and appearance of texture found in the original mixed-media painting.
Print Details * Fine art giclée reproduction of my original artwork * Available sizes: 8×10 and 16×20 inches * Frame not included
Beautifully reproduced colors and visible texture details * White border for a clean, gallery-style presentation * Printed on fine art paper Please note: The original painting features dimensional texture.
